Mobility in Aging (MiA) Course Project Videos
In CAS 781 “Mobility in the Aging Population (Part 2)“, 8 students and co-designers work together to build prototypes and algorithms to address mobility challenged faced by older adults.
Guha, Jessica, Fiona, Dennis and Len
designed a modularized and customizable night light system to help older adults to navigate indoor environments at night.
Alireza, Monica, Margaret, and Peter
developed a low-cost smart pillbox to improve medication adherence among older adults. The pillbox features one light for each slot and a button for user press. Medication types and schedules are programmable via software.
