The sMAP CREATE program offers unique experiential training centered around technologies and best practices for smart mobility for the aging population through a combination of course modules, professional skill development and research projects. Engineering and Science students will be able to anchor technology developments in real needs and constraints of older adults; Health science, Humanity and Social Science students will gain better understanding of sensing and data analytics techniques and how they can be applied in addressing mobility challenges.
Admission
Prospective students should apply through respective academic programs and contact a faculty supervisor to express interests in the sMAP CREATE program. Qualified candidates are eligible to receive funding from the program for the duration of their study.
